Formation of Puducherry Senior Agro Technologists Association (PUSAA)
The Retired Officers from Government Agriculture Department, State Agricultural Universities, Banking Sectors, Private Sectors and Entrepreneurs who are residing in Puducherry Union Territory, felt necessary to maintain legal status with a separate identity under registration, unanimously decided to form an organisation in Puducherry Union Territory.

About PUSAA
Genesis of PUSAA
To unite all the Retired Officers from Government Agriculture Department, State Agricultural Universities; Banking Sectors, Private Sectors and Entrepreneurs having Agriculture as their basic qualification who are residing in Puducherry Union Territory and make use of their expertise, experience and knowledge, it is decided to form an organisartion.
Accordingly, on 4th Day of July 2022, PUDUCHERRY SENIOR AGRO TECHNOLOGISTS’ ASSOCIATION was registered as Society under The Societies Registration Act 1860 (Act No. XXI of 1860) and a Certificate of Registration of Societies has been issued vide Registration Sl. Number 187of 2022 under the seal of Registrar of Companies, Puducherry.

PUSAA Activities
Executive Committee meetings and the Bi-Monthly meetings are conducted regularly as contained in the PUSAA Rules and Regulations and accordingly activities to be carried out are discussed.

MEMBERS ATTEND BI-MONTHLY MEETING CONDUCTED REGULARLY
The Department of Agriculture and Farmers welfare, Puducherry conducts Flower Show every year. During the year 2022-23, PUSAA has been requested to coordinate for conduct of the Farm Fest cum Flower Show. Agri. Dr. R. Ragavan, Vice President of PUSAA has been designated as the Nodal Officer. In this regard, The Secretary, PUSAA and The Nodal Officer attended the meeting held in the Department of Agriculture, Puducherry. PUSAA members participated in the JUDGING Committee. PUSAA has been awarded a Memento by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Puducherry, for its Excellent participation.
